Crane Rail Surveys
We survey crane rails to the ISO standard, using a robotic total station and a measuring trolley. Our own software turns every survey into a standard, checked report.
What we do
We survey crane rails accurately and verify their geometry against the ISO standard, so the client knows whether the track is within tolerance and where it is not.
Compliant with the ISO
We survey crane rails with a robotic total station and a measuring trolley. We also handle the trolley control ourselves: our software works together with the total station and operates the trolley. For the processing we built our own software, in collaboration with a client, so that the report always complies with the ISO: every survey follows the same structure, the calculation is standard, and the surveyor checks the result before it goes to the client. Exceedances are clearly highlighted in the report, and follow-up surveys can be compared directly with earlier ones.
Applications
- Surveying crane rails and verifying them against ISO 12488-1: gauge, alignment, height and local slope
- Measurement with a robotic total station and measuring trolley, controlled from our own software
- Reporting that always complies with the ISO, standardised and checked by the surveyor
- Follow-up surveys in the same structure, directly comparable
